However, I will try to tell a story this time.
Websites and I have had a long and complicated relationship. Not only are they things I spin up with good intentions and neglect, but they remind me of the difficult time I had starting out.

Watercolor Profile Eye Cast

I drew the eye in Sketchbook Pro then watercolored it in ArtRage on my Galaxy Note 3.

Contours and Negative Shapes - Day 37 am

This morning was harder both in content and feeling. It was 27 degrees outside so I had the space heater going full blast since my studio still doubles as a garage. Overall it went well and I actually felt better about it than many night sessions I’ve had. I will continue to use the morning sessions for grinding simple skills, and at night I will work on more difficult topics.

Abstraction - Day 34

I found some random portraits to trace the abstraction over to be able to better conceptualize what an abstraction looks like on different faces.

Peephole scene from Psycho

I painted another still from Hitchcock’s Psycho. I ended redoing the windows again and again because the perspective was off, and the porch still doesn’t look right.

Quick Rose Drawing

A quick drawing of a rose from photo reference on Galaxy Note 3 with Sketchbook Pro.

ArtRage Apple Still Life

I used app shopper website to alert me when certain iPad apps go on sale, and Art Rage finally went on sale.
